Directly reported quarters
Spending, one interval at a time
Bars use native start and end dates. Annual and year-to-date facts are kept separately; no missing quarter is inferred.

Filing-date chronology
Events are SEC filing records, without an assigned economic cause. A matched accession connects retained spending facts; unmatched events stay events.
Retained historical price data
Retained ETF samples. Study close-to-close changes, declines and observed recoveries within a chosen interval. No total-return, index-constituent or long-run wealth claim.
Provider close basis is shown in evidence. Calendar completeness is not independently certified. Peaks reset at study start; missing closes are never filled.
A recovery requires a later retained close at or above its prior peak. Unrecovered means no observed recovery before this interval ends.
| Peak date | Trough date | Depth | Recovery date | Peak to recovery |

These summaries use the full capture for the selected ETF, independently of the selected chart interval. Provider series ratios; no independently certified reinvestment wealth, index substitution or complete session calendar.

Last retained publisher close versus preceding retained month endpoint. Shading conveys arithmetic direction, not a regime. The first retained month lacks its preceding base; the latest month is marked partial.

Internal local sample studies; exact population, source and exclusions are available in evidence. These samples close none of the original 69 target datasets.
Reported filing events
Filing dates and reporting dates are different. These records have no assigned economic cause or market outcome.

Reported share contexts
Class and instant are preserved. These snapshots are not a share-count history or a current market-cap input.
Dated N-PORT record · bond funds
Two independent retained records, not a holdings timeline or an equity-sector view.

339 eligible filing-context facts and 65 directly reported standalone quarters across Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet and Meta. Coverage differs by issuer. Repeated periods remain individual filing contexts, never extra quarters.
450 filing events, seven share contexts and two dated bond-fund N-PORT records are supporting evidence.
The accepted selection keeps reported intervals of 80–100 inclusive days. For each exact start/end pair it uses the latest retained filing date, then accession as the tie-break. All 65 displayed quarters are reported; none was reconstructed by cumulative subtraction.
“Latest retained” is a selection from this capture, not proof of a complete amendment archive. A comparative period may appear in a later filing. The original XML was checked for current line bindings, not for every historical fact.
Cash-flow statement PP&E purchases, in native USD. Display divides by 1,000,000,000 and rounds to three decimal places. Evidence keeps the exact amount.
It is not AI-only spending, lease commitments, forecasts or all capital investment. Amazon’s retained productive-assets tag is bound to the PP&E cash-flow line in the checked current filing; it is not spliced to an older tag.
Licensed invested wealth, long-run return histories and historical membership remain unavailable. A separately labelled internal sandbox studies retained ETF provider-price paths, including interval drawdowns and recoveries. It supplies no total-return or index-history coverage and closes none of the original 69 target datasets.
No complete synchronized four-company quarterly panel, cross-company average or inferred investment cycle is supplied.
116 exact target keys stay discoverable. Source and method contracts are separate from observed coverage; none is silently supplied by the ETF sandbox or seeded stores.
These five earlier stored series remain a separate register under the FRED pause. The Economy chapter instead reads reviewed direct BLS CPI-U (not seasonally adjusted) and BEA annual GDP captures; it does not activate these paused routes.
| Stored ID | Definition | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| CPIAUCSL | Consumer price index, all urban consumers | BLS · monthly · seasonally adjusted · 1982–84 = 100 |
| UNRATE | Civilian unemployment rate | BLS · monthly · seasonally adjusted · percent |
| FEDFUNDS | Effective federal funds rate | Federal Reserve · monthly · percent; not the daily DFF series |
| DTWEXBGS | Broad trade-weighted US dollar index | Federal Reserve · daily · index; not DXY |
| WTISPLC | St. Louis Fed’s specific WTI splice | Monthly · USD/barrel; not generic unrestricted WTI data |
Other comparison slots stay unavailable. Government facts are not substitutes for missing price history. Existing source-rights holds remain in force.
